I have taught for over 30 years including K - University and Adult Education. I was in the classroom for and have taught online for the last 15 years. I also create and teach course for Outschool.
In my teaching, student outcomes are what count. My responsibility is never to discourage students, but to work with them with patience to reach the highest level of achievement. I have found that a style of teaching that uses all modes of learning, visual, auditory and tactile, enables me to encourage students to learn and develop an appreciation of learning. No question is left unanswered. My sessions are filled with activities and resources in documents, videos and on the Internet. Students always leave sessions with activities and resources which they can use as learning tools on their own. I have the skills to help students develop greater online expertise. In addition to becoming proficient in computer software programs, I can guide students in using computer programs and the Internet to enhance their academic skills and add to their competence as independent learners. I am a patient and compassionate teacher who delights in seeing students succeed. I love teaching and connecting with my students.

I am a lifelong resident of Georgia. I have two daughters, five wonderful grandkids, two dogs and five cats. My husband is responsible for rescuing the cats. I love nature and gardening. I have written, illustrated and published a book for my family about my car park and the possum that visited it. I create and teach courses for an online school on all of the areas of my interests, including traveling, astronomy and, of course, French. Thank goodness for online teaching. It has brought joy to my retirement.
