TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught high school and middle school mathematics in many settings: public, private, urban, suburban, and rural. I have also worked in an instructional and editorial capacity for Pearson Education. I've benefited from the leadership of some extraordinary mentors throughout my career and I look forward to sharing my expertise with you.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Mathematics has wonderful depth and intrigue. I find that cooperative learning, performance tasks, writing, and exploration are all wonderful tools for driving the content to a place where synthesis and analysis can happen. I strive to identify and explore big ideas and essential questions in all topics.
