TEACHING EXPERIENCE

The American Teacher has been engaged in the field of elementary and middle school education for over twenty years. Serving as a classroom teacher, teacher trainer and mentor, curriculum writer, children’s book reviewer, assistant principal and principal, the American Teacher has had the honor of serving children and educators in various capacities.

The American Teacher earned a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and a masters’ degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Teaching from City College. The American Teacher also holds professional licenses in school supervision.
