TEACHING EXPERIENCE

A recent graduate of Texas A&M University in Commerce with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies on December 2017. My specific certification is in 4 – 8 mathematics. My belief is that, with the correct instruction every student within a district can be a successful math student. During my internship and residency I had an opportunity to plan and teach lessons as well as implement strategies to help the students in our district be STAAR ready. I also have been implementing whole brain teaching into my lessons. This type of class room management leads to more mastery of subject area puts students in an active learning environment

MY TEACHING STYLE

My mission is to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. I will ensure my students develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society and to become the leaders of their generation.
