As a teacher for the Deaf I am always striving to create a bilingual-bicultural classroom where ASL is used to teach and learn in a Deaf friendly environment! I hope the resources I create can help other teachers.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My teaching experience started in a city high school interpreting for a few students in the mainstream setting. During this time I had the opportunity to go into several teachers and it was not long before I became a teacher. First I taught high school math for several years before changing gears and working in a small Deaf and Hard of Hearing program. This is the most rewarding job that provides opportunities to be creative.
