I've been around! Most of my experience is in fourth and fifth grades and in middle school language arts. I've also done a K-2 multiage and once owned a Montessori preschool.
I love getting my hands dirty! Interactive notebooks? You bet! Hands on STEM and science? My favorite! Differentiated reading and math? All over it! (Got over my fear of that during my Montessori years.) Data? You know it... and my kids help me handle it. Teaching is a contact sport; I aim to win!

As a kid, I attended small public, Parochial, and independent schools in the Midwest and South. I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Ed. in 1991 from UNC-Charlotte and received my AMS (Montessori) training in Apex, NC in 2003-2004. I'm currently enrolled in Duke University's Program in Education to earn my AIG certification.
