TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Ms. Maddern has worked in a wide variety of classrooms including substantially separate special needs rooms, English Immersion classrooms, and most recently in a 7th grade classroom filled with underprivileged youth. She firmly believes that all students can learn if given the right support and the right tools.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Primarily discussion-based with subsequent independent reflection. These discussion habits - as with any routine - must be taught into to be done well.
