TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 20+ years of teaching visual arts and art history to students in 5th-12th grade. I have taught art in public school, private school, and home school networks. I am also a freelance graphic designer.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I think art is all about the process not the finished product. I focus on basic drawing skills and tools in all my art classes so that students have a good foundation. I like to provide visual examples that foster creativity. Art should always cross the curriculum and include history, literature, science and math!
