TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi, I'm Danny! I am a professional composer with over 10 years of experience as a K-8 classroom music teacher and teaching artist specializing in music composition. I lead workshops on music composition and arts integration for teachers as well as students of all age levels. I have designed arts curriculum for the Kennedy Center and Kronos Quartet, among others.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My work as both an artist and arts educator is rooted in PLAY. I strive to create activities and resources that open the window to creative possibilities for learners of all ages and experience levels. I deeply enjoy incorporating as many modalities as possible into my curriculum and practice. I love to create drawings, illustrations, videos, and interactive web widgets that enrich and reinforce the content I teach.
