TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After I graduated, I moved to Virginia to teach 1st grade and I absolutely loved it! I missed my family though. :( So, I moved home and subbed for a while. Then I was hired for two years as a 6th grade long term sub. The following year, I long term subbed in 3rd grade, RtII, and Gifted. The year after that, I had my daughter and was FINALLY HIRED as a fourth grade teacher!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in making learning fun. Anything that I found boring when I was in school, I refuse to put my students through. I LOVE class discussions, sorts, and hands-on activities. Technology is my best friend as well in the classroom!
