I've taught in both the traditional high school setting, charter school and online ESL classroom. I have always been an educator down to my core.
I truly believe in student-centered and differentiated instruction. In my opinion, if the students are given some resources and a little bit of guidance from the side, they will learn so much more than if they are talked at.
My U.S. history classes scored 85% or higher on the STAAR test.
I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with my B.A. in Sociology.
I live in Arlington Texas with my beautiful wife and derpy dogs, a basset hound mix, and scottie mix. I enjoy intellectual activities and hobbies like learning new skills, I am learning Spanish and Chinese, and recently I picked up computer coding. I also enjoy playing games of all types, but as I've become older, I especially love the social aspect of board games. I played baseball all throughout my childhood, and am still a lover of it. I follow the Texas Rangers!
