I love my job, and I love my students. I've been doing my best to create materials that help them learn for 28 years. My prices are low because I mostly want folks to use what I think is quality material.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am happily in my 29th year of teaching. I started out my career in a strong district just south of Richmond, VA and am currently in my 14th year in one of the top high schools in Michigan.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have high expectations, require a great deal of writing, and provide timely feedback. Students tell me that they have heard I am hard but that students become better writers after being in my class.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I feel honored to spend this time with my students during this period in their lives. And I am constantly rewarded for my hard work as I watch them grow in their thinking and their writing. My awards are the thank you notes from students that grace the bulletin board above my desk.
