I have been teaching for more than 10 years and have taught Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, and PLTW Biomedical Science courses.
I LOVE teaching and think teaching and learning should be a blast for students and teachers and do everything I can to make it fun and ensure that my students become excellent communicators and scientists. I love inquiry and incorporating games and real-world connections whenever possible. I make my classroom a community and encourage collaboration between students, but I also incorporate some friendly competition.

I attended The Ohio State University for my B.S. in Environmental Policy. I then worked for an environmental non-profit for 2 years before joining Teach for America. I spent 2 years teaching in the Mississippi Delta and then completed a Masters of Arts in Teaching at Earlham College. I've spent the last 4 summers training at IUPUI for the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science courses that I teach.
