I have been working with children for over 15 years. I have many years of experience working with infants/toddlers, preschoolers, and K-3 students. Currently, I teach adults in higher education in the fields of English, literature, and writing. I also work as a faculty coach, guiding teachers in other similar disciplines. I previously held a C.D.A. in both age groups. I also hold a B.A. and M.A. in English & Creative Writing, and am pursuing a doctorate degree in English Pedagogy.
Children learn through play. My goal is to create fun activities for children while also helping them learn about themselves and the world around them. I also want to spread the joy of reading throughout all ages. Being able to communicate through language is important, as is discovering the enjoyment in literature and writing. I also feel it is important to keep learning enjoyable for my adult students too. We must not ignore the fact that students of all ages need engaging material to help them learn, whether they are at a beginner level, advanced level, or anywhere in between.
