TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching resource at the elementary level and I love it! Yes it can be challenging some days, but very rewarding! I love it when the light bulb comes on! It makes my students feel successful and I feel like I have done my job!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands on learner so I like to create my lessons and activities like that. I love being engaged with what I am teaching and I know my students love to move around. My students have a variety of learning styles so I try to fit them all into my lessons or activities. Engaging, hands on lessons and activities are the ones I feel my students learn and remember the most. I love to tie in real world application as well and feel it is very important.
