As identical twins, we have taught many grades. We both started out teaching lower grades and worked our way up to secondary and now post-secondary education. I (Kim) taught Kindergarten and Second grade, along with Early Childhood Education at a technical college and I now teach Early Childhood Education at a four-year University. My twin (Karon) started out in first grade, then Special Ed. 3rd, 4th, and 5th. She moved to high school and now teaches Early Childhood Education to up and coming teachers at a Christian University, along with teaching Educator Researcher and Professional Collaboration at SNU.
We love to use "all things Disney" for our inspiration! Walt Disney was famous for educating others in a very entertaining way....so do we!! We both believe in a "hands-on" approach to learning and feel the best way to learn is through "doing." We love to create educational activities that make learning fun and entertaining, as well as constructivist-centered! We also feel that once a teacher models a concept they should lead students in the active engagement of learning and demonstrating the concept.

We both received our undergraduate degrees at the University of West Georgia in Early Childhood Education, our Masters in Reading and Literacy from Walden University, and our Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida and Liberty University.
We are both very happily married to two wonderful men. We have children of the four-legged kind and we love to play golf. We travel to Disney World several times per year!
