I have been teaching for seventeen years. My classroom experience includes Kindergarten through 5th grade. I am currently working as a RtI Facilitator, focusing on helping teachers and parents develop appropriate Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
There are two rules in our room: 1. Be kind. 2. Work hard. In the words of my friend Rafe, "If I expect my students to follow these rules, I need to be the kindest and hardest working person they know." I strive every day to make sure our room is full of kind, hard-working people. :)
