TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a third year teacher at a rural school in Southern Louisiana. Currently, I teach seventh grade English, Creative Writing, and Journeys to Careers (8th grade).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I consider myself a facilitator/delegator because I believe that most students learn best by doing. My lessons are usually designed for groups, in which students are required to collaborate with their classmates to apply what they learned in an innovative or creative way. I like to be a resource to my students rather than an authority.
