TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I trained to teach with one of the top institutions in the UK: Cambridge University and believe this gain me a secure understanding of how to make learning fun, engaging and challenging. I have taught English from 7th grade through to 12th grade with a wealth of successes in terms of outcome achievements. I have also taught Media Studies up to 12th grade and am currently writing a publication for Cambridge University about the current international Media landscape.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style would best be described as 'out of the box'. I like to get students out of their seats, working in different groupings and actively learning. I believe that if a student loves what they do, then they will remember the lesson. I teach by this mantra.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have a First Class Degree with Honours in English and Creative Writing. I have also had short stories published and plays broadcast on Radio in the United Kingdom.
