I spent five years in the classroom teaching kindergarten and absolutely loved it. I have experience as a grade level chair and new teacher mentor/coach. My expertise is in planning creative lessons, teaching young children, modeling best practices and supporting teachers. I specialized in community building, positive classroom climate, math and literacy.
My teaching style fosters community building and a positive class climate, which is the foundation needed for learning to occur. I differentiate learning and use rich and relevant instruction for all learners.
