TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for the last 4 years, all of which have been in Kuwait! I began teaching at an American school as a Second Grade teacher, but moved to a British school where I taught The National Curriculum of England for a Year 3 class. This year I will be journeying back into Common Core as a Kindergarten teacher.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I did not take the traditional path towards becoming an educator. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a TESOL Certificate and began teaching at an international school in Kuwait. I realized that there was no other place I'd rather be than in a classroom, so I went back to University to get my Professional Teaching Certificate. I see a Master's Degree in my not-so-distant future . . . to be continued.
