Since 2003, I have shared my love for literature and writing in the classroom, both in private and public schools as well as a private tutor. I have had the unique experience of homeschooling my children (ages 5, 9 and 13) during a transitional move from the United States to Canada.
As a teacher, I am the facilitator and believe in a student centered classroom where kids are challenged, having fun and developing a love for reading and writing. I am passionate about teaching ELA and you will see that in the materials I create.

As a teacher and mother of four, I create materials I would want to use in the classroom as well as with my children. I believe strongly in the home to school connection and that ultimately the academic success of a child begins at home. I aim to provide resources and materials to help all parents and teachers become "extra". Please visit my website theextraschoolmom.com
