Over 22 years in mathematics, from Grade 7 through college.
Problem Solving and Problem Posing are the most important skills we can teach our children. They do not learn them by passively sitting in class. They are dynamic skills learned over time with constant practice. Some of my lessons are more basic, but all require the student to be an active, aware, and cooperating member of the class. That goes for ELL, ESE, and students with other issues. I call this Fearless Teaching and I invite you to join me to "Go Forth and Do Math!" .

I have two sons who have given me four grandchildren. My family is my heart. I am blessed that we all live close to each other. I am originally from Ohio with additional roots in Indiana. McCormick's Creek State Park near Spencer, Indiana is my favorite place in the world and it conjures up wonderful childhood memories. I Moved to Clearwater, Florida and then on to Palm Beach County where I live today.
