TEACHING EXPERIENCE

19 years occupational therapy experience in the public schools. Now own The Handwriting Clinic in Richardson, Texas and author of First Strokes products and workshops. I create writing literacy activities for students with autism, special needs and learning disabilities as well as lesson plans for fine motor activities, drawing, coloring, grasp development, scissor skills and handwriting. My activities are a blend of therapeutic activities that can be used to support IEP's and classroom goals in the classroom. I travel and do over 35 workshops nationwide per year. My website is www.TheHandwritingClinic.com. My goal is to empower teachers and engineer the classroom to build a bridge between therapy and the classroom. My philosophy is multi-sensory activities helps students learn while having fun and using all their senses!

Come to a sponsored workshop, or your facility can sponsor a workshop! Workshops come with tons of activities and resources! Our clinic also does tutoring and therapy in the Plano, Texas area - over 400 kids come each year to our after school classes or summer camps. We even have intense fly-in programs!
