TEACHING EXPERIENCE

19 years occupational therapy experience in the public schools. Now own The Handwriting Clinic in Richardson, Texas and author of First Strokes products and workshops. I create writing literacy activities for students with autism, special needs and learning disabilities as well as lesson plans for fine motor activities, drawing, coloring, grasp development, scissor skills and handwriting. My activities are a blend of therapeutic activities that can be used to support IEP's and classroom goals in the classroom. I travel and do over 35 workshops nationwide per year. My philosophy is multi-sensory activities helps students learn while having fun and using all their senses!
