I've been in education for 10 years. I've worked in reading intervention, and as a classroom teacher in 2nd and 3rd grades. I'm currently teaching 3rd grade to 24 amazing students. I mean we could go back a little too... 13y -15y Dairy Queen :) 15y - my first teaching job - Server - Which I feel gives me a great ability to multitask - So that's something ;) Basically, I've been working since I was young and teaching is by far my favorite thing I have done. I love the hustle!
I would say it depends on what the lesson needs, I range from very explicit instruction to student led learning (with some guidance). I've been moving more to online resources as the technological demands for our students are ever increasing.

I am a mom to four super cute boys, all under the age of 10. I am actually teaching one of them this year. My husband is a Rancher and randomly puts me to work moving our cows, or driving a tractor. Is working heavy equipment a credit to a TPT author? I don't know but it gives me time to think! I love, love, love teaching! I am committed to making each day an experience and providing the best education possible to my students.
