TEACHING EXPERIENCE

During the past 26 years, I have been blessed to teach 3rd grade, 9th grade and almost everything in between! I've been an elementary classroom teacher, a media specialist, and a junior high ELA teacher, and I truly couldn't pick a favorite--they're all wonderful!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Learning needs to be fun and relevant to real life--the same is true for teaching. :-)

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Being voted Teacher of the Year 2014 by my students was the best honor ever!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have degrees in Elementary Education, Library Science, and Middle Grades Education with an emphasis in English.
