TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught special education for 6 years in a district that practices an inclusion model. I have a Reading Specialist license. I recently completed my masters and now have a principal license as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a very balanced style of teaching. I believe there are many correct ways to teach material. The focus for me is the student. I work to identify how they learn best and focus on making connections to experiences my students have had. I work with students with a variety of disabilities and believe it is very important to provide learning opportunities that teach explicitly. The more I work with students, the more I learn!
