Hi all, I'm an Elementary / Primary School Teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. I have previously taught Junior Infants, 1st Class, Language Support, 5th Class & I currently teach 5th & 6th Class in a MultiGrade setting.
My primary aim is to have a happy classroom as I firmly believe that when my pupils are happy they learn best. We work in a collaborative style in our classroom with a wide variety of teaching methodologies used. There is a huge emphasis on the use of technology in the classroom. We take excursions, we have group work, project work and individual task learning also. Our classroom is where we learn by "doing". We ask questions & discover the answers to those questions together.
I received the honour of the "Orla Benson Award" from my Secondary School when in Leaving Cert.
