TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a Teacher of the Deaf for almost twenty years, I have used many fabulous resources over the years that are treasures, and created many of my own. I want to share them with you! My passion is teaching students with hearing loss and itinerant teaching. I look forward to sharing my journey with you.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As an itinerant teacher, I need quick, portable and interesting lessons. I also need organization. When you don't have a classroom of your own, you need to find creative ways to be mobile and have everything you need to teach. My teaching style is moving students from their present levels of performance to the next step!

What I know now, I wish I knew then. I regularly have teacher candidates do their practicums with me and we both benefit from the learning experience. My students are

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a busy Mom to two very active boys who are into sports. When we aren't at a baseball diamond or hockey rink, I enjoy cooking, exercising, traveling, spending time with friends and family and photography.
