TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a third-year teacher and believe that teaching is the greatest job in the world. I work closely with my students to help them succeed. I have run several programs, as well, that focus on helping students achieve greater test scores and gain the confidence needed for state tests, and ACT/SAT.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love hands-on learning, and group facilitated discussions. I believe a major part of my role as a teacher to be a facilitator of learning, and to allow self-discovery.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have been published in literary and poetry journals, and have presented at several conferences for literacy and philosophy at Utah Valley University. I am also a member of the Rocky Mountain Poets.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor of Science in English Education. Minor Degree in Philosophy. Currently working towards a Master's Degree in curriculum design.
