Currently, I am the Executive Director of The Hitching Post Education Center, a non profit organization that serves children and young adults with special needs. I have 26 years of experience in education; including general education K-12, Special Education K-12, Administration Pre-K to 12, Job Coaching (deaf and Hard of Hearing), General tutoring and Special Education Advocacy. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration with current certifications in Special Education K-12 Cross Curricular Education and Administration. I have taught the deaf and hard of hearing and is fluent in American Sign Language and have held certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
My teaching style changes as often as my children do! Working with children with special needs requires flexibility and thinking outside the box.
