I am currently teaching Graphic Design to 10th - 12th grade students in Baltimore City Public Schools. Prior to this school year, I taught Visual Arts to grades K-11 in Baltimore City Public Schools.
Reading, math, and history are a part of each of my Art lessons. This type of interdisciplinary curriculum helps students learn, apply, and develop skills like measuring and reading comprehension and so many other critical thinking skills. Art is a way to inspire, motivate, and engage students in school.
