I have been teaching for 13 years. I spent the first 12 years teaching Language Arts to gifted students. We followed a project-based learning approach. I recently started teaching an introductory STEM class called Innovations and Inventions.
My teaching style is a unit approach. This allows students to have choice and work towards a larger goal by completing small tasks. These tasks normally involve group work and real-work connections.
