I have been teaching Kindergarten for seven amazing years! It has been through this experience that I feel confident about really knowing what skills and abilities students are coming in with every fall. More importantly, I have a greater understanding in what tools teachers need for themselves and their students in order to have a smooth year of learning.
I like to mix it up all the time! I give students the tools to become great listeners when they need to be and hands on when duty calls! My classroom is filled with conversations, laughter, giggles, and all of the funny stories kids bring with them! I like simple activities that don't take up too much preparation and can be used over and over to refine necessary skills.

I am a proud single mother of two beautiful and amazing young ladies! Being a mother has given me a better insight as to being a teacher at home first and then in the classroom!
