This is a great field trip follow up activity! There are a few writing opportunities that include sequencing, opinion and a chance for kids to write new facts they learned. Of course there are boxes for your kids to illustrate their experience.

This is good for introducing story problems. Type in whatever problem you want (I like to keep that option so I can use my students names in the problems) then you can model how to solve a story problem and teach them what to look for.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a third year teacher who loves to learn! I taught kindergarten one year then the past two years I have been teaching first grade and I love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very visual person so that comes out in my teaching. I love to teach kids the importance of referencing information so I am big on keeping anchor charts up for a while. We are very hands on in our classroom and we often take time to talk things out. I believe in giving kids the times they need to master a task vs. rushing through to the next topic before they fully understand what the last topic was.
