In my seven years of teaching, I taught grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
I teach with a student-centered approach. I love having students work collaboratively on projects, hands-on experiments, research, and more. Every lesson should have an engagement piece that hooks students, leaving them wanting to know more.

I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in elementary education in 2011. I am certified to teach K-8.
I am from Scranton, Pennsylvania and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 2005 to attend the University of Utah. After graduating from the U, I started teaching in Salt Lake City. In June 2016, I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where I currently live today with my husband. In 2018, I decided to leave the classroom to focus on my business full-time but still remain active in the school system through substitute teaching.
