MY TEACHING STYLE

In general, I encourage student discovery beginning each unit with a specific outcome in mind and often with a broad unit question that we work towards as a class. Each unit begins with comprehension activities and builds up to creating, analyzing, and evaluating.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, and a minor in Secondary English Education which included a Virginia College Professional Teacher's License certification study.

I am currently teaching at the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center in Santa Cruz, Bolivia as a 9-12th high school English teacher with an additional prep of AP Literature.
