I am a longtime literacy and instructional strategist and serve as the Executive Director of one of the largest education associations in my state.
I value a Whole Child approach to education, underscoring the policies, practices, and relationships that ensure that every child––in every school, in every community––is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.
Board of Editors—Journal of Maine Education; Steering Committee—Maine Content Literacy Project
I hold a Doctor of Education degree, as well as advanced degrees in K-12 literacy, educational leadership, and instruction.
When I left classroom teaching to enter the realm of coaching and private consulting, my small children told everyone that their mama was no longer a teacher, but a teacher-teacher. The title they gave me felt like a superlative, and my heart grew two sizes. I love supporting teachers and learners alike, and I am continually astounded by the folks I am blessed to know. I look forward to meeting new colleagues and friends as we swap resources here on TpT!
