I have been teaching in Northeast Thailand for four years in a variety of classroom settings with all types of ages. I have taught one-on-one to small groups to large university classes. I have taught in small private English language schools as well as in large public universities. I have also spent some time running my own small-scale English language school.
Because many of my students lack speaking skills, I try to focus my classes on engaging and interactive lessons that allow students the most speaking time. I feel that peer interaction and critical thinking exercises are crucial in building language. I love to integrate mixed media into my classes that allow students to connect authentically with the language they are learning.
