TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in a variety of roles within the Elementary setting. I have spent time teaching K, 1 and 2nd grades. I am not in position that allows me to work with teachers and classes in all grade-levels PreK-5 integrating technology, overseeing Library services, and develop Professional Development for our district.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a structured, fun-loving, controlled chaos kind of girl!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated college with a BBA in Marketing degree and loved what I learned in the business world. I often time apply the principles of marketing in the classroom to help enhance the learning experience. Soon after graduating I moved to Costa Rica to enhance my knowledge and understanding of a different culture. I returned after two years of volunteering in a small school, to a life at home that took a drastic change in direction. I was hired as a social worker for the state, and it was then, I realized I wanted to help students change their own stars. I went through the Alterative Certification Program and have been dancing around the classroom ever since!
