I have taught longer than I care to admit in preschool and elementary education, so let's just leave it at that. Also under my belt, are conference presenter, tech integration specialist, and being a demanding educator who is not afraid to fail forward. How do we expect our students to take calculated educational and life risks if we don't model that for them in the classroom?
I appreciate quality literature, the beauty of math, critical analysis, and the freedom to teach both! As in life, I strive for balance: student-driven and teacher-driven small group and whole class heterogeneous and homogeneous groups high-tech and low-tech hands on and contemplation but most of all I demand critical thinking!
