Pamela has more than twenty years experience teaching music! She has been a public school music teacher, a private piano instructor and children's choir director. In addition, she spent five years as a school administrator.
High levels of student engagement are important to Pamela. Students in her classes experience a variety of activities as they make music. Whether singing, moving, playing instruments or composing music, Pamela's students benefit from activities that will challenge and engage!

Pam graduated with honors from Taylor University, Fort Wayne, Indiana earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. She also completed her Masters Degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University as well as the Principals Licensure Program (PLP). Pam is certified in Levels I and II of Orff Schulwerk.
Pamela is a frequent presenter at state and local conferences. She has presented on topics such as Brain-Based Learning, Student Management and Work Stations for the Elementary General Music Classroom. Pamela is currently the Associate Artistic Director for the Fort Wayne Children's Choir in Fort Wayne, Indiana and teaches in the Music Education department at Indiana-Purdue University, Fort Wayne.
