TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in the field of education for the past 11 years. I was a paraprofessional for four years, and have been a Special Education Teacher for 7 years. I am certified in Special Education instruction (K-12) and Middle School Mathematics (6-9).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in incorporating the 4Cs (communication, creativity, critical-thinking and collaboration) into each lesson that I teach. I prefer student-led learning through learning centers, challenge-based learning and integrating technology, as opposed to direct instruction.
