TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught both elementary and middle school art. Most of my 15 years of experience in teaching has been in elementary school art.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style fosters creative problem solving in a fun way that motivates students to learn. Students are inspired to create meaning in their art by recording their experiences, thoughts and feelings in a way that is age appropriate for them. I also believe it is important to incorporate a variety of disciplines in an art education program such as literacy, writing, math, science, and social studies.
