TEACHING EXPERIENCE

A proponent and believer in outdoor education, Leith Monaghan has worked with youth in the outdoors with organizations such as YMCA Camp Chief Hector, University of Calgary Outdoor Centre, RiverWatch, Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society and Alberta Parks. Additionally, she has nine years as a classroom teacher teaching Grade 2, 6, and 9. She is certified as a Professional Interpreter with the Interpretive Guides Association and as an Assistant Hiking Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. She enjoys sharing her love of the nature and the mountains working with both children and adults.
