Before entering the education field, I worked in editorial capacities for Poetry Magazine in Chicago and Penguin Random House in New York. With years of experience working with children and adults as a teacher in the United States, I know that I have found my calling. The determination that my students showed in learning to speak English, and the subsequent relationships that I formed with them, inspired me to pursue English teaching as a full time career in 2016.
My teaching style focuses on the Whole Child approach. I integrate art in everything that I do. My students learn new English words and concepts through different art projects that also foster fine motor skills, teamwork, and critical thinking.

I am a native English speaker originally from New York State with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Education. I am currently in a postgraduate program for teaching English to speakers of other languages at Comillas University in Spain.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing, cooking, reading, hiking, doing yoga, spending time in nature, and making art.
