I have taught for five years, but have had years of experience in management and sales. I view teaching as a similar profession to sales. The teacher must sale the material, the task, and the potential of each individual to a constant rotation of new clients each semester.
I focus on collaboration and communication. Skills are more important than content, for skills transcend subject areas. Students must learn to lead and follow in order to navigate the working world. My lessons focus on the process rather than an end result or an answer. However are flexibility enough to adapt to any teaching style.
