TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I LOVE teaching! I have wanted to be a teacher my entire life and could not imagine doing anything else! I love creating useful products for my classroom and hopefully yours as well. I hope you enjoy! I have been teaching for four years in the state of Virginia. I have taught fifth grade and am currently teaching fourth grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching in small group, so I often create literacy and math centers that students can work on while I pull groups. I love interactive notebooks and using my Smartboard whenever possible. A happy, engaged student is key to a successful learner!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Member of Phi Delta Kappan (Education Honor Society) and Phi Delta Phi (French Honor Society). Graduated cum laude.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a BA in French and an MS in Elementary Education with a specialization in the teaching of english language learners.

I am a wife to a former high school teacher, now doctoral student, and the proud honor of a rescue dog.
