TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade for 15. I have taught in both private school and public school settings. Most recently I've been in the public education. I love teaching and I love writing relevant, practical curriculum. My Masters is in Curriculum, Instruction and Supervision. It's important to me to keep current in my field and bring what I'm learning into my classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to be a facilitator of my students' learning process. I teach large group, small groups, and individual students throughout the day. I use these different formats so that students have time to practice new skills, learn from one another, and have time to check in with me for understanding. My goal is to provide my students with engaging learning experiences that help them grow in understanding and independence in their learning.
